A group of insane individuals who have escaped from a maximum-security mental hospital firmly believes themselves to be Soviet partisans and the orderlies to be Gestapo officers. The group is led by a hardened schizophrenic named Matvey. Neo, an outpatient, suffers from a mild mental disorder.
