C.J. de Mooi is an actor with extensive credits including London's West End, the Edinburgh Fringe, pantomime and musicals. His love of performing began at an early age and although his turbulent youth is well documented, he has never lost his passion for the stage. In 2003, after competing successfully on a number of television quiz and game shows, he was asked to join a new program called Eggheads, remaining involved for over 10 years. With the publication of his autobiography and the upcoming release of his debut feature film The Renata Road, C.J. has been firmly established as one of the country's most intriguing entertainers. A vocal critic of homelessness and HIV care, C.J. campaigns regularly on both platforms. As a vegetarian, he is involved in animal welfare and is a health and fitness enthusiast, setting his marathon personal best of 2.58.30 in London 2015. With his new interest of writing, C.J. has already published several short stories and a novella.
