
Andrea Arru is an Italian actor and model. He is best known for playing Pietro Maggi in the teen drama series Di4ries (2022) and young Diabolik in the crime action film Diabolik: Who Are You? (2023). He won the Young Actor Award at the Maratea Film Festival 2022, the Special Award at the Rec Film Festival in Rimini 2023 “for representing the youth universe with passion and determination,” the Generation G Award at the SediciCorto Film Festival in Forlì and the Capri Italian Rising Star Actor of the Year Award at the Capri Hollywood Film Festival. He is best known for playing Pietro Maggi in the Netflix TV series Di4ri and Christian Todi in the film The Boy with the Pink Pants. He started his career in 2014 as a model and photo model, walking the runway at Pitti Immagine Bimbo for Il Gufo and, in 2015, for Armani Junior. In 2020, he made his film debut with a leading role in the movie Glassboy by Samuele Rossi, playing Pino Gambassi, the "glass boy". In that same year, he acted in the film Calibro 9 by Toni D'Angelo. In 2021, he played the teenage Michele Straziota in the Canale 5 series Storia di una famiglia perbene by Stefano Reali (he also appears in one episode of the second season), while he appeared in an episode of the Canadian television series That Dirty Black Bag. Since 2022, he has played the protagonist Pietro Maggi in the Netflix series Di4ri. In 2023, he portrayed the teenage Diabolik in the film Diabolik - Chi sei? by the Manetti Bros., and the following year, he plays the role of the antagonist Christian Todi in Il ragazzo dai pantaloni rosa.
