KIRSTEN AUCOIN is an author, scriptwriter, and director. Her love of the horror genre began when her father showed her Jaws at a young age (yes, she considers it to be a horror film). The Saw franchise has long been an inspiration for her from a creative perspective, and - as a woman with chronic illnesses - she feels a personal connection to the topics of health/healthcare that show up throughout the series.
