Kelly Tapia is an actress who began working in screen productions at the age of 17 and has pursued her passion for storytelling with determination and dedication ever since. Born in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico, in 2003, Tapia studied acting and performed in theater before transitioning to film. Despite facing early setbacks and countless auditions that did not lead to roles, she remained committed to her craft, continuing to train, audition, and create opportunities for herself. She is known for her work in Untether (2026) and for one of her first leading roles in Sólo una vez (2024). Her credits also include Anemoia (2024), which was selected for festivals including FICENS and FICQ, Paranoia (2024), DESDÉN (2025), and Craiglist Sucks (2025), produced as part of the 48 Hour Film Project Los Angeles. Known for her perseverance, screen presence, and commitment to authentic storytelling, Tapia continues to expand her body of work across film and emerging media. Outside of acting, she has enjoyed singing since childhood and is an accomplished ukulele player. She remains focused on taking on challenging roles and bringing memorable characters to life on screen.
