Maria Smal (born September 16, 1999) is an actress from in Omaha, Nebraska who is currently based in Los Angeles. Aside from her degree in theater performance, her education also includes studying Shakespeare at The Globe Theater in London. Since moving to Los Angeles, Maria has been heavily involved in the sketch comedy scene, exploring her range of performance as a comedian and a writer. Her most prominent work is her award-winning debut film "Shepherd Moon" (2025) that screened at 16 festivals around the world. Maria's feature film debut is slated for Spring 2027 in "The Booth" (dir. Niles Abston). Maria is set to lead "Untitled Gen Z Thriller Feature Film" going into production in September of 2026, as well as "Untitled Crime Comedy Feature Film" going into production Summer 2027. She has gained a following on social media through her comedy content and her lifestyle content, and was recently featured in Times Square on a billboard featuring Linktree's spotlight creators.
