Born Aditi Srivastava, Itida is a performing artist with a unique journey. After graduating from the University of California San Diego, she initially planned to pursue a career in law before embracing her true passion for music. She formally trained under her guru, the legendary Padmavibhushan Dr. Girija Devi, in Vocal Hindustani Classical music. Her talent, which she inherited from her paternal grandmother, is a tapestry of her family's roots in Lucknow, India, woven into her own global influences. She released her debut album Pen & Paper in 2013 via Hungama Music/Artist Aloud, which was followed up by a fusion album Des-Pardes in 2014 and released under the same banner. Both albums were well received and reigned in the TOP 10 Independent music charts in India/Artist Aloud. Moreover, out of 200 female artists in India, Itida was nominated in the "Best Female (Pop) category and was in the Top 5 position for the Artist Aloud Music Awards (2015). Along with her two popular album releases, Itida has also produced and released singles (EP's), which have been widely appreciated. For her efforts in the field of music, Itida was awarded with the Uttar Pradesh NRI (Non-Resident Indian) Ratna Award, by the Chief Minister of the State, in 2017
