Pieter Sjoerds Gerbrandy (Pieter Gerbrandij) (Goënga, 13 April 1885 – The Hague, 7 September 1961) was a Dutch lawyer, professor of commercial law, civil procedure and bankruptcy law at the Vrije Universiteit, politician and member of the House of Representatives for the Anti-Revolutionary Party (1948-1959) and member and chairman of the Radio Council (from 1929). He was Minister of Justice (1939 - 1942), Colonies (ad interim) (1941-1942) and General Warfare of the Kingdom (1942-1945) and Prime Minister of the Netherlands (1940-1945) in London during the Second World War. From 1955 until his death he was Minister of State.
